Con23 ADC #3F-104S/CBO Starfighter
Originally built to address the Italian Air Force’s AWX (All Weather Interceptor) requirement, the F-104S was the most capable of all the Starfighter variants. The type was built in two cofigurations. The F-104S/CIO could guide the AIM-7 Sparrow radar-homing missile, while the F-104S/CBO carried a M61 20mm Gatling gun.
Turkish F-104S spent much of their career in the South East Asia camouflage, also worn by USAF F-104Cs in the Vietnam War.
